Round two of Becca Cosmetics and Jaclyn Hill Collaboration brought a great buzz and some controversies with it. The moment I saw this entire collection I immediately decided that I am going get my hands on this beautiful Champagne Collection Face Palette. The Champagne glow collection had five products but the eyeshadow palette was discontinued because of its poor and inconsistent quality. I was bouncing off the walls for this palette and as expected it sold out within few hours of its release and I was fortunate enough to get it before it went out of stock. Here is my Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette Review.
Champagne Collection Face palette is a limited edition palette and retails for $52 (Value: $136). The packaging of this palette is absolutely stunning. The gold and white packaging makes it look luxurious and royal. Each palette comes with a sample sachet of Becca Primer. Champagne Collection Face palette features a full palette size mirror on the lid. The Palette itself is heavy and has Jaclyn Hill and Becca printed on it. Currently this palette is out of stock online but is available in stores.
Champagne Collection Face Palette comprises of five shades: three blushes and two highlighters. All shades in this palette are limited edition and exclusive to this palette except for Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed which is also available as an individual shade. All shades are being created by Jaclyn Hill and formulated by Becca. Champagne Collection Palette features different formulas of blushes and highlighters. Here is a small description of all shades in the palette:
Rose Spritz: It is the only luminous blush formula in the palette. Rose Spritz is a beautiful pop of colour shimmer peachy pink blush, which can be worn alone without any highlight or mixed with any other shade or highlighter to get customized look.
Amaretto: It is a mineral blush formula. Amaretto gives a matte finish and is a shade like toasted almond.
Pamplemousse: This one is also a mineral Blush and it is a matte warm coral pink.
Champagne Pop: is a Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed formula which is a peachy pink highlight shade
Prosecco Pop: is also a Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed formula and it is a gold highlight shade.
All three blushes are highly pigmented and give a very good pay off. So, you need to be careful while packing it on to the brush, dust of the excess and go with light hand. Both the formulas, luminous and mineral, are very soft and feels like butter. I found these blushes to be long lasting as these do not fade away for hours.
When it comes to the highlighters in this palette, Champagne Pop, in my opinion doesn’t need any review or introduction, we have seen everyone raving about this shade, so I would just say that Champagne Pop is one of my all-time favorite highlighters, it not only looks perfect on my skin tone but it also gives a perfect glow on the face. Prosecco Pop, the new shade by Becca and Jaclyn Hill is also a great highlight shade. It is a warm gold shade and I noticed some specs glimmer while it was on my face. I think it is not ideal for fair skin color.
Champagne Collection face palette truly reflects the hard work which was put in by Becca and Jaclyn Hill. Everything from color selection to formula is perfect. With this palette you can create a good variety of shades by mixing the blushes and highlighters together. I am very happy to own this palette and ever since I got this beauty, it is the only thing I have been using on my face for highlight and blush.
This palette gets five stars from me 😀
