Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Pearl Review

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Pearl Review and Swatches

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in shade Pearl, first came out as a part of a limited edition holiday highlight set, Champagne glow palette. Champagne glow palette was named after Becca’s bestselling highlighter champagne pop which was created by Jaclyn Hill. This palette created excitement among all beauty lovers because of champagne pop. But the shade pearl quickly became favorite of many people because of its multiple uses. Now Becca has released the full size of Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed  Pearl. I did not get the full size of it because I have it in my champagne glow palette.

Pearl is a white highlighter and gives pearl like glow. Because of its white color it is a perfect highlight for fair skin tones. Most of the highlighters doesn’t show up on light skin and look dark but this Becca Pearl highlighter would look great on such skin tones. For medium and dark skin tones this highlight might not give desirable outcome. When I tried it alone as the highlight, it made me look pale.

This highlighter can be utilized by mixing it with other highlighters and creating new shades. Mixing it with dark highlighter would create an ideal highlighter for medium skin tone. I mixed it with Champagne Pop and loved the results. It looked like light bulbs on my cheeks 😀

Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Pearl can also be used on eyes as a brow highlight or inner corner highlight. Another use of it could be on lips to make them look fuller, after applying lipstick dab this shimmering skin perfector in the middle of the lower lip.

The formula of Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed is creamy powder unlike other highlighters that have dry ingredients only. On the contrary to this description by Becca I found it a bit powdery. You can see its particles around the pan after dabbing brush in the pan.

It gives amazing luminosity and glow to the skin but within two of application this glow diminishes a bit but it is not noticeable.

I highly recommend this highlighter if you have fair skin or you like to experiment with new highlighters.

It is currently available online only and will be available in stores on 22 January 2016.
